Goodbye Niknok Media

Producer Amanda Konkin started creating work in 2011 under the banner of Niknok Media. Since then she has transitioned away from theatre and shifted her focus into film and television. She incorporated 2 Film Companies in 2019 with amazing women, Spectacle 5 films and Download Joy Productions and has worked full time in animation at Mainframe Studios since 2015. While she no longer produces content using Niknok Media, the brand will always be close to her heart. She can continue to be reached at akonkin@niknokmedia.com for all her live action production work.

Ben’s Vlog

After a great first season of Blank Verse, Nik Nok Media is giving Benjamina Jonson her own series. Ben’s Vlog will premiere this spring and find young Ben trying to come to terms with the death of her friend, while discovering who she is as an artist.

Check out Ben’s first vlog from last Halloween.

The short series arc entitled ‘Isle of the Dogs’ will feature some familiar names from Blank Verse, as well as introduce a few new faces, and will continue the story re-joining our characters a few months after the tragic events at the end of Season 1.

Our Thanksgiving Special for Blank Verse features Will Shakespeare, Ben Jonson, Chris Marlowe, Thomas Kyd and Richard Burbage getting high in a car. It is worth watching!

Nik Nok Media’s latest project, Blank Verse is a webseries about William Shakespeare and the writers of his time, re-imagined as modern day university students.

The first season will run every Sunday from Aug 25th- December 29th via blankverse.tv.

Short and Sweet: Small Plays for Big Ideas!

Nik Nok Media is lending a hand to the fabulous team at ACTivist Theatre Collective for their Vancouver International Fringe Festival production this year!  As part of Amnesty International’s 50th Anniversary celebration they are presenting Short and Sweet: Small Plays for Big Ideas at Photohaus Gallery in Vancouver.
